I
grew up in Southern California with the most wonderful family. Without
them I never would have made it very far! Growing up I loved cartoons
and drawing. One lesson I learned early is that cartoon physics doesnt
translate to the real world and I have the scars to prove it!
In
high school a group of us borrowed my parents video camera and began
shooting our own (horribly Embarrassing now, we thought they were
cool back then) videos.
I went to undergraduate school at the world famous University of California
at San Diego (the nerd school, not the party school). I spent quite
a bit of time working on student films and working for the student
run television station. while Working for WCTV I met a great group
of people who became my best friends. I graduated with a degree in
Political Science.
At
the time I thought I wanted to be a lawyer. Silly me, what was I thinking.
instead I headed off to art school to pursue my dream of becoming
an animator, and not wearing a tie to work everyday. I was lucky enough
to meet my wife and make another good friend at the Academy of Art
University.
My
lovely wife has given me endless support and inspiration and is quite
an illustrator. We recently welcomed our second child into the world.
She's daddy's little cuttie pie!
I'm
currently working at a video game developer in Los Angeles. It's a
challenging but very rewarding job. Where else would I get to wear
flip flops to work?
